Gallet: What episode of House MD does House go to a clinic to get a Dr to prescribe him Vicodin?
For some reason House ends up going to a clinic as a patient to try to get the Dr to write him a script for vicodin. The doctor suggests other medicines which House says he can’t take for various reasons. The doctor says he can’t prescribe Vicodin because House is a new patient. House gets angry and tells the doctor how his prior diagnoses and medication proposals are incorrect and the Dr realises House is a doctor.

It is during Season 3 episode 10 “Merry Little Christmas”.
This is during the time when the cop Tritter is after House. House goes to another hospital to attempt to obtain vicodin, but like you stated, being a new patient and being in the ER they will not prescribe to him. He ends up “stealing” meds from the hospital pharmacy for a patient of Wilson’s who has recently died.
All of this is happening on Christmas Eve. He ends up leaving a message for his Mom on her answering machine and attempts to OD on alcohol and pills. Wilson finds him in a pool of his vomit, including the pills.
House decides to take the deal Tritter had been offering him and goes to him. He will not deal and tells House that he now has evidence of House taking the drugs illegally from the hospital pharmacy.

That is Season 3, Episode 10 – Merry Little Christmas. The one where that Detective guy, Tritter, is trying to get House put in jail for abusing Vicodin. Cuddy refuses to give House Vicodin to get him to take a deal Tritter’s made. So House winds up having to go to the clinic and get that dr. to give him vicodin, etc. etc. you get the idea. Great episode. Probably the second best christmas episode. First place is owned by Season Five – ‘Joy To The World’ in my opinion.
