Ricochet: Emergency Medical Professionals: How often do you get male patients that are wearing panties?
I asked this question already, but I accidentally resolved it before I was ready. So here goes…
My mother always said “Wear clean underwear everyday. You never know when you’ll be in an accident.”
There appears to be a lot of men wearing panties these days and I was wondering how common it is that doctors, nurses, and EMT’s discover that their emergency patients (males) are wearing ladies underwear. Do you and your colleagues get a nice chuckle out of it?
Non-emergency medical professionals, how often do your male patients show up in your office and flash their panties?

Ha ha–good question. It happened to me a lot more often when I worked on an ambulance. (i.e. normal looking male, no sign of cross-dressing until clothing was removed…)
Since working in an emergency room, I’ve only encountered it with a repeat male patient who consistently dresses as a female outwardly, as well.
The streets are always more unpredictable!

I was recently in the ER with panties on and not embarrassed at all since that’s normal for me and I’m not trying to hide anything. I’m very androgynous and wear mostly women’s clothes including heels. The thing that got noticeable attention at the ER was my navel and nipple piercings. 🙂
