We have a neighborhood news sheet we put out for our own folks who are mid income and some are currently unemployed, so to help them cut some gardening dollar corners, might you have an idea that we could share in our next note to everyone? Some have curbside pick up for branches and such, and many do not…most yards are 1 quarter acre or less.Thanks in advance for your help.

When I mow I bag the grass and put it around my plants to keep the weeds away and to help hold the moisture.

Have everyone look around their garden beds, It seems everything I planted last year is reproducing itself.

Have people pot them up and sell at a garage sale.

Where I had tomatoes there are seedlings,Where I had Mums there are mums and so on.

Some suggestions:

Get donation of seeds from the local organic gardeners.

Buy different varieties of seeds and share among;

Enjoy organic fruits like all types of melons; or vegetables (with lots of seeds)
like pumpkins, squashes, and so on together, and share all the organic seeds.

Exchange saved organic seeds with each other each year.
Exchange vegetables and fruits harvests with each other.

You can grow more and more plants and through these plants seeds you can grow new plants again.. no need of buying expensive trees or plants for your garden. you can decorate it with low budget garden furniture.. there are many websites that offer low cost garden furniture that makes your garden beautiful.. here is the link of one of the website link of garden furniture..
