Maria – there are hundreds on the market at any given point. I’d advise you to check out the following website:

My favorite is Red Top Mountain State Park. It is about 1 hour north of Atlanta. The only problem is it is exceeding popular and you have to reserve the cabins at least 1 month in advance. It is close enough to commercial hotels that you could make a day trip of it and then stay in a motel. Alcola State Park is, also, very beautiful.
