Kristian: Do you beileve that teenagers can fall in “love”?
Personally, I do, and I am not saying that because I am a teenager myself. I know some teenagers think that they are in “love” within minutes, hours, or days in a relationship, and I can see why people are convinced that teenagers cannot be in love. Do you believe that teenagers can be in real, honest, love?

Yes. Love is love even if it may not seem like it.
I dont think so because teenagers dont know the meaning of love. One minute the say I love you, the next minute they dont. I say wait till your old enough to really know and experience the real meaning of love.Answer by Ellen
I was “in love” at 15. But I didn’t learn what love really was until 17.
So yes, I believe teens can be in love. Even though I didn’t quite have a hold on it yet, I loved him as best as I knew how.
Answer by krazy_gal04Well, I’ve been w/ my husband since I was 15 & he was 17…so yea, I do believe teenagers can fall in love (real love too)! My husband & I got married when I was 18 & he was 21..I am now almost 26 & he’s almost 28!! We have 2 beautiful daughters now also! So, anyone who says that teens CAN’T fall in love are wrong; I’m not saying *all* teens fall in love, but it CAN happen! 🙂Answer by ♫♪♫ The Music Makes Me Sway.
Anyone can feel love. Yes teenagers can be in love. It’s just when you’re young love can be mistaken for infatuation, or lust, or just the general excitement of a new relationship. Sometimes people throw the word around because they think it’s what the other person wants to hear. And most teenage relationships are based on shallow factors or just sex and arent as committed or serious as when you’re both a little older.Answer by Kayla
I think English needs more than one world for “love” like the Greek words for love.
Yes I do think a teenager can fall in love. But I don’t think it means quite the same as when you fall in love as an adult, after you’ve grown and know who you are. I think it’s still real and honest love it’s just different. Even the most mature of teenagers will still reflect on how different love is as an adult.
Answer by ѕнαкєнιρѕиσтfιѕтѕ ❤It depends. I really hate the teenagers who, after a day of dating, say they’re sooooo in love with each other.
There a few who do fall in love, after a year or so of dating. About 2%.
Answer by Like a Rolling StoneEh. Love has no limits I suppose.
Apparently there’s this study where kids 12 years and up develop the emotion/part of the brain or whatever that can “love”. I guess it can, but it’s rare.
Answer by AsherI am.
I guess most teens overuse the word love, like its no big deal and I hate it.
I’ve been with my girlfriend for 3 years and I love her so much.
It took alot to figure out I did though.Answer by BamaGirl
They absolutely can, but discerning real love from lust or a crush is incredibly difficult. I fell in love at 15 with the man that I will marry in 6 months, but I am only now realizing what love really, truly is. I loved him then, but I didn’t really know where it would lead, and I was unsure of a lot of things. To sum up, yes, I believe teenagers can truly be in love, but they may not be prepared for it yet. (In other words, getting married and having babies before you’re 20 is not the best idea.)Answer by Ry
depends on the person, for me, very much so.Answer by xD
Anyone is capable of loving. People love from the day they’re born. Babies love their mothers before they can talk. Its just about loving for the right reasons. So yes teenagers can fall in love. But its only considered love if its for all the right reasons.Answer by parsofotv
no, i don’t think so it’s just the waste of time…. though there can be attraction but love??? impossibleAnswer by Demented Dementia
I think that depends on the teen, myself. On their connections, their maturity level, and a whole lot of luck. It certainly isn’t likely, but, I believe that if two people want it enough, and have met these requirements, among many unnamed others, it can be done.Answer by None
Yes. Love has no age limits. 🙂 A 16 year old can love more intensely than a 36 year old. Same goes for the 36 year old. Most people have their “first love” in their teens. It’s actually weird if you don’t.
