They do not desensitize the clitoris. If you are referring to the fact that many women have less intense orgasms with a partner after using a vibrator for self stimulation, that is because generally a woman has a more powerful orgasm, usually in less amount of time, then with a partner. This has nothing to do with the clitoris becoming desensitized, rather it is the fact that women know their own bodies and know exactly where to touch and with how much pressure to achieve a strong orgasm. This is less likely to happen when leaving it up to another person to do for you.

I’ve heard that regular use does desensitize it.. and I can imagine why, logically. However, I can also imagine that use once in a while doesn’t do that. That all really just makes sense, anyway. Anything that you do very often desensitizes you, if you know what I mean. Even pulling teeth! But if it’s once in a while, it doesn’t have that affect.

Havent heard that.
I use vibrators to get clitoral orgasms because manually it takes forever or even never… plus clitoral orgasms are the strongest ones.
