Angel: What is the difference between Algebra 1 and Algebra 2?
I’m a ninth grader and I’m about to take Algebra 2.
But I took Algebra 1 in 7th and Geometry in 8th
And I was just curious,
What is the difference between Algebra 1 and Algebra 2?

algebra 2 is just more difficult and you get into the depth of math more
Algebra 2 involves doing more complex things. Factoring and matrices are two of the aspects of algebra 2 that I remember off-hand. My algebra 2 teacher also taught us basic trigonometry, but I’m not sure that that’s a part of the typical algebra 2 curriculum.Answer by NamedMark
