CCKIDD: How do I make the show desktop button to work without clicking it in windows 7?
I just bought a new netbook with windows 7 that doesn’t have a mouse. I saw a video that says the show desktop button works without clicking it, but mine doesn’t do that. I’m having trouble adjusting to a new laptop, with different buttons, and think showing the desktop without having to click is more convenient.

“windows key” (next to alt) and “D”
hold the “windows key” (next to alt) and at the same time keep pressing tab until you get to your desktop.

Windows key + D shows desktop and win key + space shows aero peek

Press the button on your keyboard that has the Windows symbol on it and the D key at the same time. That will minimize all open windows and show the desktop.
