Dew Drops: How do you dance in a dress with a train?
My wedding dress wiill have a pretty long train. The dress agent showed ways of pinning it up. Other people suggested holding the end of the train in my hand whilst dancing.
Are there any brides who just let the train be? Is there a way to dance to avoid tripping over the train?

usually they have hooks that you hook the train into a pretty arraingment getting it off the floor, or you remove it
it depends how lively your dancing will be. if you’re just staying in one place, you’re not going to trip over it. but if you want to go in circles or walk around much, it will be an issue.
maybe you can have a slow not-much-movement initial dance, then once everyone else is dancing you can back off to a side and pin up the dress for faster dances later

That’s why you pay the extra money to have them include how to bustle it. This pulls the train up and removes it from the floor, it looks just like part of the back of the dress then and you’re free to move. Otherwise you hold it up.Answer by Because I Said So
If you have a train then your seamstress will create a bustle for it when your gown is altered. After the ceremony and formal photos are done, your bridesmaids will tie the bustle in place so that your train is up off the floor for the rest of the reception.Answer by deborah g
My MOH is going to bustle the dress after the ceremony.
If you don’t want to do that, you could try holding it. Some trains have a loop at the end that you can wear like a bracelet.
Answer by marrichThe point of pinning up a dress is so you don’t have to worry about tripping over it or people stepping on it. If you let the train be, it will get dirty and stepped on, and be a big hassle. I would pin it up, so you don’t have to worry about it anymore.Answer by Molica Inkster
Better it has a hook, you can remove it when are dancing~~~
