matt: What is the best book for learning geometry?
I am an art student trying to learn more about mathematical geometry for my artwork. Hopefully, I’ll get as far as understanding the equations behind fractals, but I don’t know how far that is. I don’t remember much past SAT-needed geometry, and there aren’t any courses at my school that go past basic algebra.
any suggestions?

I think “Geometry” Prentice Hall Mathematics would be a good choice. I’m sure Amazon sells this, and you can read about what it has to help you make a decision. My niece loves art and is not fond of math, but she seemed to like this book’s examples and explanations. I think there’s several authors who wrote this book.
