If we give one type of business a discount (churches) on their taxes then we have to make up for that revenue by taxing people in other ways.

Why does an atheist have to pay for religiosity? I think we’d all agree giving organizations that do ONLY charitable things should have exemption but why should others have to suffer through taxation for your religiosity?

Churches are non-profit organizations. That is why they are tax exempt, as are all non-profit organizations.

A non profit organization that caters to atheists would receive the same tax exempt status as a church.

Churches operate as charities on a not for profit basis. I haven’t checked, but suspect you will find that organizations like American Atheists also have tax exemptions as educational organizations so the godless and the believers are treated equally.

Why do homosexuals get to get married when marriage was clearly brought about by the Bible? Why do atheists have to runs their mouths ALL THE TIME…why do my tax dollars have to go pay for AIDs patients to get treatments because they were doing drugs in the first place?
