Snoogieworkens: I made a “Christmas tree” shaped blade for a fishing spear. Would this work?

not as well as you would think. the christmas tree shape will act as a saw blade against the struggling fish. eventually he will saw himself free. one or two stout, round barbs is best because it takes much more force to work it free.
