phusion: Changing careers in Sims 3, do you have to start over from level 1?
I wish I started a different career path. The hours of my current one (Criminal) leave no room to hang out with the family. If I were to change careers, would I have to restart from level one with low pay and work back up?

Blatantly, yes. As always.
I don’t personally like it. But that’s one thing the Sims franchise lacks: job interviews.

Answer by Raven FThere is a cheat, however. 🙂 EA Games is always good about supplying us cheats to change gameplay, lol.
Enter the code, without quotes, “testingcheatsenabled true” and then shift-click on the mailbox. In the pie menu are career options, every career and at every level. (The level choices come up when you choose which career path you want.) Voila, new job!
