In recent days we have seen the pres. elect denounce gay marriage, after seeming to not be against it while running the election gamut. Why do celebs feel they will be treated any different?

they probably dont feel that they will be treated any differently and i think they donated to him because they believe that he will be a great leader just like most of the other people that donated

Because it a big glitzy party that everyone else is going to. I don’t think they really analyze beyond that.

But seriously, they had money to throw around, you can probably write it off on your taxes, and they get their name in the news. I say, why not.

Because celebrities are treated differently, otr hadn’t you noticed. Besides most celebs are left wing nut jobs that change their opinion as often as they change their hairstyles.

Hollywood celebrities tend to support the Democratic party. There are some exceptions, but most times this is the case. Most celebrities have ridiculous resources available to throw at them too, so that equates with large donations. It’s a culture thing really.
