jsnz: Car makes grinding noise when trying to start?
I posted a question a few hours ago about the starter in my car not disengaging. Anyway, my problem now is this:

I turn the key in the ignition, and I hear a grinding noise, but car won’t start. Ideas? Thanks.

run on and attack noise!
don’t think these can be shimmed. having gone through four starters, i would check the condition of the fly wheel or flex plate/ring gear b4 getting another new starter.
