michael c: Can you freeze an Amish friendship bread Starter?
I have a starter for Amish Friendship Bread. It has to be fed every 5-10 days with flour, milk, and sugar and then a third of it must be made into bread. I cant really keep up with it right now due to a busy schedule. Can I freeze it without killing it?

No you cant. You are making homemade Yeast, Extreme heat, and cold kills Yeast, it is better, just to give it to somebody, and let them feed it for you.Answer by Heather
