Can you check into a motel at midnight and check out at 11am the same morning?

Jim: Can you check into a motel at midnight and check out at 11am the same morning?
Would be staying at a red roof in. Traveling overnight to get to an event sunday afternoon. Stopping at a motel overnight though. Anyone know if this is at all possible?

Sure – no one cares.
As long as you guarantee the room with a credit card so that your room does not end up going to someone else, you can arrive anytime you want. Then you can leave any time you want as well, provided it is at least by the checkout time they set.

If you book the room in advance its yours even if you dont get there. Most hotels will not book unless you pay for it at booking. You can come into any hotel that has a room anytime and youre in. unless of course youre under 18. Some hotels will hold a room till 4pm without paying in advance. Most if yu ask may let you have a late checkout too. They will usualy even have a extra late checkout for less then a half days fee.

Yes if they have an available room you can check in and then check out whenever you like. You’ll need to pay for the full night.
