Pirarre M: Can Paypal debit my bank account automatically without my permission?
My husband sold something on ebay. The buyer requested a refund, however nothing was wrong with the item what so ever. To make a long story short, the buyer filed a claim and Paypal placed a hold on my account for -360. I have no money in my Paypal at this time.
If Paypal favors with the buyer,will Paypal automatically withdraw the funds from my Checking Account without my permission?

Read the rules of service at Paypal, you pretty much sold your soul to them when you agreed to their terms of service.

I do not believe paypal can go into your bank account and take out the $ 360. However, if you were to sell anything else and use paypal to receive funds, then paypal would take every dollar of it until it makes up the $ 360.
