Aspiring: Can Obama use an executive order to deal with the debt ceiling situation?
My knowledge of how that all works is a little behind. With the republicans refusing to compromise and agree to eliminating tax cuts for the rich, can Obama issue an executive order and just tell them this is how it’s going to be?

I wish he does ! Let us have fun
Obama doesn’t have the balls to say anything to the Republicans. He is a weak President that too quickly falls down and gives in to the Republican demands. The Democrats are no help at all in helping the President in any situation, because they too cannot fight back.
Doesn’t really matter anyways because both parties are only there to fight for the big businesses, they do not care for the people.

No. There is nothing in the Constitution about Executive Orders, but any such order would go against the powers of Congress as outlined int he Constitution: “The Congress shall have Power…To borrow money on the credit of the United States” – US Constitution, Article I, Section 8.
So if he did attempt to do so, it would be challenged very quickly, and easily be ruled to be unconstitutional.
