LOL, no, but you probably already have a higher than average IQ if you manage to make it through a Jewish conversion. After all, you have to learn Hebrew, and learn all sorts of Jewish Law, and all the Brachot. The Rabbis need to make sure you will be observant, and they do that by putting you through the mill.

You can convert to Judaism. I’m not sure if it will help you in the smarts department, though. We have to have SOMETHING to work with… 😉

Here’s how… It takes a couple of years to convert to Judaism, both in learning & going through the holiday cycle.

Meanwhile you learn to ask questions! About everything! You learn to think Talmudic or analytically style in order to follow Jewish logic of studying Torah for layers of meanings & for depth. You will be rewarded for creativity, for new ideas, & encouraged to generate answers yourself rather than being told them. You will also be told you are not sinful but instead learn to be guilted into trying to do good for the world as your burden – so your motivation shifts (& not feeling bad about yourself leads to more effectiveness).

So by the time you are done, you will have increased ways to approach life in these new styles of thinking, which may give an “appearance” of being intelligent. So, for better or worse, that’s the best positive answer I can give.

To clarify from another answer
Jewish people aren’t “smarter.” That’s a stereotype myth. As described though, the religion itself leads to some nice challenge thinking, plus Judaism values education highly for everyone — & more education translates to more achievement.

As someone who was told at a young age that I was a christian, I tried, but it failed…I always wanted to fix it, but that did not work and there were no answers. This is most likely true because there were no questions..that seemed to them to be a lack of faith. From there I was a seeker and would have stayed there but that is only the begining of a journey….I was lead to the answers by the questions…and now I am a Jew. Why? Because there is no lack of faith here G-d believes in me, that is why I am here. That means I do not leave my brain at the door, I am asked to use it…it is a wonderful freedom. Now it is passover and I have gone from spritual bondage to spritual freedom. You may not be smarter, you are most likely already there, but you will have a place to use it.

Yes. I believe that Jewish People are indeed Intelligent People who excel.. However their IQ . isnt higher than the average person. I always thought it was.. The excellence in Jewish achievement may be application, to their studies, character , FAITH OF GOD etc
However , the IQ data may be skewed. and not accurate
