Rafael J: Can a foreigner buy stocks on the NYSE?
I live in Paraguay and I’m a citizen of Paraguay. Are there any websites that allow me to buy stocks of the NYSE from here. Or how can foreigners buy stocks in the NYSE.. Thank you!

Yes and no, you can not buy YOURSELF stock in a U.S stock exchange, because you need to be a U.S citizen to be a U.S stock broker. But there are many foreigners who own, buy, and sell stock and even full companies it the U.S stock exchange. They just use an American brokers company or bank, it is really easy and it can be done trough most international banks.
It can not be done in countries which the U.S is currently embargoing (Iran, Cuba, etc.) but even then you can contact a Swiss bank who can laundry the money for you.
Iran, Cuba, Libya, Sudan, Zimbabwe, The Balkans are all members of the International Boycott
