if you’re a girl or into chick-lits then i recommend the shopaholic novels by sophie kinsella, theyre all hilarious and fun reads and nicholas sparks’ books are all good

or you should go read the alchemist, and jane austen novel..

Why not get a few of the classics? My favorites are To Kill a Mockingbird, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The HObbit, Girl of the Limberlost, Treasure Island, and The Scarlett Letter.

That depends entirely on what sort of books you enjoy reading. My recommendation goes to A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole, since I think it’s a great book with broad appeal.

If that doesn’t work, try this: https://www.awardannals.com/v/Special:Genres – just select your favorite genre. Books are ranked according to how many awards they’ve won. Although this gives an advantage to more recent books, your not likely to find a crappy book in the top ten of any of these lists.
