There is always the chance of your body having auto immune issues when you put something “foreign” in it. Most people are fine, but that is always a possibility. Your body just sees it as an invader and does its best to get rid of it.

I think the better question is “is breast implant surgery safe”? With any surgery comes risk. You have to decide if altering your body surgically outweighs the risk. Once you feel comfortable with that answer, I would submit that any foreign substance in your body also comes with risk. Saline is safer than silicone just by nature of it’s more natural ability to merge with your own body chemistry. Good luck. And, do you really need bigger boobs????

Breast Implants and surgery is very safe today.Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India.There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India.They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients.You can checkout their website.The cost savings are incredible.As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world.The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done,you are better off getting it done in India.

my cousin got a couple of plastic surgery including breast enhancement procedures through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company.She is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA.hope this helps.

depends what you think “safe” is.

compared to other common surgeries, it’s super safe.

But even perfectly done and sized… they need maintainence at 10 years/15 years or so.

Standard risks of surgery, wound infection, pain, bleeding…

Saline breast implants are extremely dangerous. They can lead to oogling, flirtation, sexual harrassment, and even fondling.

They also make you prone to bump into things, and cause guys to say stupid things while trying to get your phone number so they can have wild anonymous sex with you.

Some sources have linked saline breast implants to a higher incidence of rape, but the research on this is still inconclusive.

I have saline implants and they are wonderful. Everyone is different but everything with mine has been great. Definately no regrets. Check out plenty of doctors and find one your comfortable with. Mine are also textured so I do not have to massage them everyday.

they are considered safer than silicone implants. but, word of caution, they can still leak only that saline get absorbed into your body better and does not create problems like silicone. hally berry has saline implants and hers at some point started leaking and she had to go and fix them.
