dooki m: Any good anatomy books for an artist wanting to learn more?
I really need to sharpen my anatomy skills when drawing people. My anatomy for figure drawing is ok, but it needs a definate tune-up. Any suggestions on books to get?

Google the for Andrew Loomis PDF’s. Andrew Loomis was an artist in the 50’s who made a famous series of how-to-draw books that are now out of print. His anatomy books are the ones that you’ll probably see folks referring to the most often.
Vilppu also makes a good figure drawing series in books and on DVD. He explains things very clearly, especially if you’re watching the DVD’s, and he actually gives very good tips about how analyzing the form and suggesting motion.
There are a ton more, but those are the ones that I use the most. Try searching art forums for some more recommendations. Good luck!
