rockloverff: After every holiday, I feel depressed and unwilling to go back to school. What I can I do?
I feel like crying, vomiting, and I feel feverish and hot. I get nauseous at the thought of school and get headaches. This happens after every holiday, but especially after summer holidays. I get afraid of loosing my way around school, getting detentions etc and often have school related nightmares. I am usually a straight A student, and am well behaved. I also get sick at the thought of PE and facing other students.

It is called Anxiety. It is completely normal to feel nervous or stressed out at the thought of going back to school especially when you are entering a new semester or trimester or starting a new grade. Everyone gets those questions buzzing in their head about whether they will be able to find their classes or if they will have problems but school is really nothing to worry about. There is always that usual first week or so where you adjust to your environment and then it’s usually smooth sailing. What I would do is just tell yourself you will be fine and just think about all the fun classes you are going to have or think about how you will get to see your friends again. The best thing to do is not to panic and just stay calm. I hope I helped out in some way 🙂
