Ginni B: How absolutely complicated/expensive is it to study photography abroad in the UK?
I love photography. It has been my long time passion. Photos last forever and says so many different things. While I was planning to go to The Art Institute in York, I just had this crazy thought, which better way is there to study photography and get my full expansion with my camera then going overseas to study abroad. Can anyone who has been there or done that help me out a bit. Like how expensive, how complicated, and how intense it would be to study overseas?

I think the overseas tuition fees are around £10,000. Don’t quote me on that but it’s a lot more expensive than a UK student. Most photography courses require a foundation degree before the actual course.
Some good universities are Bournemouth, Bristol UWE and Farnham. I know UWE and Farnham don’t require foundation degrees but obviously all require an interview and portfolio.
